Rope Swing

Distance from Laie:N/A
Avg. Time to do activity:   1 Hour

Unfortunately the big tree that the rope was tied to was cut down. There was probably an injury that gave merit to removing the swing. Additional ropes have been put up on other trees but don't have the swing or thrill of the first.
If you still want to visit the pool it's a short walk from the road (Nuuanu Pali Dr). Go through Kaneohe and get on the Pali Highway heading towards town. The Pali goes up the mountain and through the tunnels. As it descends the median will open up and you will be able to turn left on Nuuanu dr (the first left after going through the tunnels). Drive down Nuuanu dr a little ways and you will see a little parking area to the left on the shoulder of the road. There are a few signs and a trail that starts and heads into the bamboo. A little further down the road are some houses and lawns with rocks near the road. Anyway, park by the signs and take the trail down the river for 5 - 10 minutes and you will find the pool and ropes.
