Ya, Hawaii is pretty much the most awesome location for sky diving. Dillingham airfield on Kiana point offers skydiving, body flying (simulated sky diving), and gliding to the public. The
Pacific Sky Diving Center is the company that we usually use because it allows bigger groups to jump and divers are dropped from higher altitudes. They usually offer discounts for groups of customers, so if you can get 6 to 10 people to jump it will cost less. The Lifted Entertainment company offers simulated sky diving which consists of a big propeller that drives a tunnel of wind strong enough to lift a few hundred pounds. (Just check out the photos to make sense of it.) With BYUH ID you can get the rate for locals which is about $45 and float around for about 10 minutes. Contrast that with a 30 second skydiving freefall for $130 and you've got a good deal. See the photo at left for a visual location of the airfield or click here for a map.
